• The incumbent will also ensure compliance with established internal
  control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and
  documentation;
• Verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation;
• Complete audit reports by documenting audit tests and findings;
• Appraise adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit
  questionnaires;
• Maintain internal control systems by updating audit programs and
  questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures;
• Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing
  findings with auditees.
• Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new security
  legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on
  needed actions;
• Prepare special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing,
  and summarizing operating information and trends;
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending
  educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing
  personal networks; participating in professional societies;
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
  needed; and
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer

• The applicant for the Kiira Motors Senior Internal Auditor job
  should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Commerce, Finance,
  Accounting or in a Related Field from a Recognized Institution;
• Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Uganda; and
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or
  in a related field is an added advantage;
• A minimum of four years of working, two (2) of which should have
  been served as an Internal Auditor in a Reputable Organization with Current
  Generation Knowledge of the National Audit Act 2008, IFRS, Uganda Tax
  Legislations, PFMA 2015, Company Act 2012 and other Applicable Laws.
