Job Summary:
The Credit Administrator will plan, drive, review, monitor and direct the
growth and quality of branch lending activities, in line with the branch
targets, strategies and the existing credit policies/ procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Zone the branch lending areas, segment the market, conduct potential
mapping assigns loans officers the different zones and ensure effective
lending to all the zones as per the bank’s strategies, guideline and
procedures. - Setting, driving, monitoring and reviewing performance of assigned
portfolio for credit staff in terms of quality and quantity of the
portfolio in accordance with the branch targets - Marketing loan products and mobilizing clients in line with the bank
policy & set targets and credit strategies - Appraise or support appraisal, analysis and structuring of credit in
line with the bank’s policy and procedures. - Planning, organizing, chairing and documents proceedings of the
branch loan committee approval and recovery committee meetings in line
with the Bank’s lending policy. - Checking / Verifying and establishing authenticity and completeness
of documentation of loan documents in line with the lending guidelines. - Disbursing credit within the delegated limit, according to approved
terms and conditions and in line with the bank’s credit policy. - Ensuring that the bank’s interest is registered on securities and
documentation is complete for every loan as required by credit policy. - Providing safe custody for the branch loan securities and files in
line with the bank guidelines. - Planning, coordinating and monitoring Teller, Vault and ATM
operations through snap checks in line with the bank’s policy. - Evaluating the performance of the loan portfolio mix and generating
periodic reports in line with the bank guidelines and the branch targets
for each product. - Resolving client queries and complaints in order to maintain quality
service delivery standards - Reviewing and evaluating performance and development of subordinate
staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Centenary Bank Credit Administrator job
placement should hold an Honor’s degree in Commerce, Business
Administration, Economics and other relevant courses from a recognized
University - Other relevant professional qualifications an added advantage
- Training in credit essentials / courses related to Credit and
Lending - Three (3) years’ continuous service in branch credit operations as
Commercial Loans Officer with Average NPR of not more than 4% and average
disbursement of 4 cases for commercial loans respectively for the last one
year. - Good knowledge of existing bank products and credit policy and procedures
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Interpersonal skills
- Superior customer service
- Relative Competence at current job and assessed potential to
supervise others - Ability and willingness to work at any branch or operational unit
where/when posted - Clean Disciplinary record for the last one year.
