About USAID RHITES-E Project:
IntraHealth International will implement the USAID RHITES-E which
supports the Government of Uganda (GOU) and key stakeholders to increase
availability and utilization of high quality health services in 21 districts in
Eastern Uganda and 2 in Karamoja by strengthening health systems and improving
the quality of, access to, and demand for health services with attention to
equity and underserved populations.
Job Summary: The
Infrastructure Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating all works and
activities pertaining to infrastructure assessment, provision of administrative
support for the bid solicitation process for contracts, including coordination
with facilities, district engineers, MOH, engineering consultants, and RHITES-E
program team to develop bills of quantity/design schemes and document the
solicitation and competitive bidding process.
Qualifications, Skills and
  • The ideal candidate for the USAID RHITES-E
    Project Infrastructure Manager job placement must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
    in civil engineering, Construction project management or a related field.
  • At least five years’ experience in
    administering document processing for a large construction contracts
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft suits
    including word, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Working knowledge of PMWEB,
    PRIMAVERA (P6), and welcom cobra
