About Us:
African Initiatives for Relief and Development (AIRD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making organization with the main aim of protecting and seeking durable solutions for Refugees and IDPs in Africa in partnership with UNHCR the UN refugee agency.

Job Summary: The Finance/Admin Assistant will be supporting the coordination of AIRD Finance and Admin Activities. The incumbent will have the overall responsibility for financial administration, maintaining policies/ procedures and risk assessment records, maintaining and inputting statistics to suitable database.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the AIRD Finance/Admin Assistant job placement should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Bachelor of Commerce with specialty in Finance/Accounting
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in general accounting or finance position
  • Computer Skills; Proficiency in quick books, Excel or any other accounting software is added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to represent and report writing skills.
  • Willingness to work in any part of the country.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
