Job Summary: The Group,
Conference and Event Manager with the Hilton Hotels & Resorts  will be responsible for maximizing rooms,
groups, conference and events revenue for the hotel through pro-active selling
and commercial management techniques.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Manage the day to day performance of the Groups,
Conference & Events Sales office and the on-property Reservations Team to
manage the active conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales to
develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the
hotel.
·        
Ensure all relevant checklists/responsibilities of
the Reservations team are completed to the appropriate standard and in a timely
manner.
·        
Deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer
service, reservations, groups, conference and events whilst ensuring a clear
and effective line of communication is maintained with the operational team,
the rest of the hotel and the Revenue Manager.
·        
Ensure effective information-gathering and analysis
is conducted in order to identify and maximize on all possible opportunities
and minimise any risks.
·        
Regularly interact with other departments and
functions to ensure we exceed our customers’, owners’ and shareholders’
expectations.
·        
Maximise conversion of all Individual, Group,
Conference & Event opportunities & enquiries.
·        
Utilise systems, tools and reports in the prescribed
way to ensure all decisions are supported with relevant data analysis,
maximising revenue potential.
·        
Ensure compliance with departmental brand standards
and all Best Practice and Standard Operating Procedures of Reservations,
Enquiries, Leads, and overall Booking Accuracy (standard contracts signed and
clear billing details received). Ensure all enquiries are dealt with promptly,
in line with company standards.

Manage the relationships and business processes
between GC&E Sales, Sales, Operations, Reservations and Revenue.
·        
Regularly reviews and manages individual and team
performance through the support and implementation of departmental training.
·        
Ensure a successful client interface at each stage
of the sales process. To respond to all Customers, whether internal or external
in a manner which is both professional, courteous and in line with Hilton Brand
standards and procedures relating to the department to ensure total guest
satisfaction.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:

The ideal candidate for the Hilton Hotels & Resorts
Group, Conference and Event Manager vacancy should a hold a degree, or
certification in a relevant field
