NFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit
for its valuable client, in the Leisure
and Hospitality industry i.e. a Hotel.

Job Summary:   The Assistant Hotel Manager will support the
hotel manager in the completion of all activities related to the operations of
the hotel, ensuring the establishment works as smoothly as possible. The
incumbent will be responsible for supervising the smaller departments in the
hotel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
The incumbent will be in charge of overseeing all
the events, activities and operations of the hotel.
·        
The incumbent will take the necessary decisions
needed in his/her assigned division and ensure all hotel rules and policies are
implemented.
·        
Keenly monitor the tasks of personnel and workers,
set goals and plans to promote and improve the service of his/her department;
and will be tasked to give schedules and assignment to each worker.
·        
Manage client complaints and compliments about their
department hotel.
·        
The Assistant hotel manager will also support the
hotel manager in ensuring the security of their guests and the entire hotel or
hotel department.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
·        
The applicant should preferably hold a bachelor’s
degree in hotel and restaurant management or hospitality management. Possession
of a master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage.
·        
Aspiring assistant hotel managers with previous
hotel experience and trainings will have an advantage over other candidates.
·        
At least five years of related working experience
with a reputable hotel; three of these in a senior role
·        
Highly organized, systematic, patient, motivated,
confident and a hard worker.
·        
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
strong leadership skills, analytical and problem solving skills, good customer
service skills and multi-tasking skills.
·        
Ability to work well under pressure, and with
minimal supervision.
·        
Should also be able to work independently or as part
of a large team.
·        
The candidates should be willing to relocate to
Uganda.
·        
They should also have a valid passport.
·        
Having a work permit to work in Uganda is an added
advantage but not necessary.
