market leaders in the implementation of telecom infrastructures which support
the telecom actors to efficiently build and optimize their networks development
by integrating the traditional telecom technologies with the most innovative
know-how from adjoining fields.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • In
    charge of cost controlling and ensure all invoices are booked on time
  • Responsible
    for severing as a liaison with the Kenya Office so that accounting is up
    to date
  • Follow
    up & claim accruals of the clients
  • In
    charge of monthly analysis of the P&L, control on deviations vs budget
    and LY, and send relevant comments to Africa CFO.
  • Technically
    support the Country Manager in the control of expenses, PO and any
    administrative issues as required
  • Ensure
    Group procedures are followed: purchase process, stock management, SAGE
  • Work
    closely with the Country Manager to provide a reliable monthly cash flow
    forecast.
  • Bank
    payments from clients and  suppliers
    and bank reconciliation.
  • Submit
    weekly cash report
  • Comply
    monthly with reporting dates in coordination with Kenya office.
  • Work
    closely with banks, auditors, tax advisors as required.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The
    ideal candidate for the Financial Controller placement should have a
    minimum of five years’ experience in accounting/financial control/audit
  • Computer
    literacy skills i.e. proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for
    accounting functions. Knowledge of SAGE PASTEL is desired
  • Practical
    and hands on approach
  • Ability
    to take responsibility with self-initiative
  • Ability
    to interact with senior management and work under minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge
    of French is an added advantage.
