entrepreneurship course, long-term mentoring, and practical experience of
starting an enterprise for A’ level students. Educate! is working with over
20,000 diverse youth across Uganda, growing to a staff of 57 in just five
years, has a memorandum of understanding with Ministry of Education &
Sports and has already incorporated its curriculum into Uganda’s National
Education System to reach 25,000 students annually. The organization has
received the Ashoka Fellowship and several international awards and grants,
proving out a program model that can be replicated across Africa.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Designing Youth Business
Experience (YBE) Content:
Curriculum design for Youth Trainings in Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

2. Program Design Monitoring:
- Steer
the designing, administering and monitoring learning loops, - Technically
support the design and implementation of field staff focus groups, mentor
and scholar focus groups - Actively
collaborate with M&E on data entry, conduct field observation visits,
dissemination lessons learnt and ensuring their integration in design and
implementation etc.
3. Design Production:
- Pre-test
all program content, support in editing curriculum and ensuring content is
in context, make bi- termly procurement orders. - Perform
a quality check on all D&T procured materials every time an order is
delivered, - Regularly
review and update the programs team on any new design changes, support
departmental budgeting, planning and goal setting etc.
4. Training:
- Carry
out introductory and refresher trainings of Regional Officers on facilitation
of designed materials - Steer
the annual YET training - Render
support in updating program officer induction & youth leader induction
based on learning loops.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
applicants should hold Undergraduate Degrees in Education or its
equivalent - At
least two to four years in program management, program design and
training. - Excellent
training and facilitation skills - Possess
excellent writing and communication skills, - Detail
oriented, proactive and creative, - Possess
excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, - Staff
development and vocational skills.
