About BMCT:
The Bwindi Mgahinga Conservation Trust (BMCT) was established in 1994
to conserve Mgahinga Gorilla and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks (MGNP &
BINP), two critical forest habitants which provide a home to half of the
world’s remaining population of mountain gorillas in south western Uganda. To

Job Summary: The Monitoring
And Evaluation Officer will primarily be responsible for the Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E) of the BMCT Programmes in the three Districts of Kanungu,
Kisoro and Kabale. S/He will be primarily accountable for BMCT ME systems and
documentation. The incumbent will be developing/Strengthening BMCT planning,
reporting and ME Systems. The jobholder will be data capturing for both
financial and programme reports quarterly reports to Management and Donors.
Also in-charge of the documentation of lessons learnt and updating the BMCT
website
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The applicant should possess a good
    Bachelor’s degree in a social science subject with a post graduate
    qualification in Monitoring and evaluation.           
  • Five years’ experience in monitoring and
    evaluation of programme
  • Qualifications in data management and
    analysis, website management and reporting will be an
  • Extensive knowledge in conservation and
    development issues/ programme monitoring is an advantage     
Age: 30-35 years.
