Job Summary: The
Umeme Business Analyst will offer Business and performance insight support to
Operations Department through business process analysis; making recommendations
to desired process states through strategic business analysis, providing an
in-depth and broader understanding of problem identification; analysis and resolution
in the Operations Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for strategic planning for the Operations Department. - In
charge of designs, develops and delivers management information for
Operations Department. - Drive
KPI dashboard reporting for operations. - Actively
co-ordinates Operations Budget preparation and monitoring. - Oversees
and controls financial elements of CAPEX including submissions, controls
and closure. - Monitors
expenditure on behalf of Operations including all payments certification
processes and controls. - Works
closely with the Regional Managers, Income Department and District
Managers to deliver the operations AOP - Delivers
monthly and quarterly performance insights for COO - Monitor
and ensure key projects are delivered in time, in according to business
requirements, on budget while meeting customer needs - Assist
in the identification of opportunities for improving business processes
through non-system driver changes or information systems - Compile
and prepare statistical reports. Consolidate information into cohesive and
understandable formats for use in management decision making - Carry
out change impact analysis to assess potential implication of changes - Provide
work direction and act as a lead team member on specific projects
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The
ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting, or Bachelor of
Statistics, or Bachelor of Economics. - Past
experience in entity wide audit is a MUST - Computer
literacy skills i.e. Proficiency in MS Excel - Deep
interest and aptitude in data analysis & trends - High
degree of initiative and independent judgment - Willingness
to take risks and seek challenges - Open
to extensive travel across the country
