Job Summary: The Team Manager is
responsible for the coordination of the basin-wide studies within the framework
of the development of the Lake Albert licenses.
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistency of the development plan
    across all oil related projects in the Lake Albert basin including oil
    production, the refinery and the export pipeline.
  • Coordinate a team of upstream oil specialists
    embedded inside the different license operators’ structure.
  • Organise and follow up on project work and
    requirements.
  • Prepare progress reports and provide feedback
    to all project stakeholders.
  • Organise regular meetings with the license
    operators, the Government of Uganda and the various relevant Ministries.
  • Identify cost reduction initiatives within the
    basin-wide development activities.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
  • The applicant should hold a Bachelors degree in
    Engineering.
  • At least fifteen years experience at management
    level in the upstream oil and gas business
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Exploration and
    Production processes and activities
  • Excellent organisation, communication and
    interpersonal skills
