the education of children through arrange of innovative education programmes

Job
Summary:
  • Lead
    the full spectrum of financial management, accounting, reporting, human
    resources and organizational administration. 
  • Responsible
    for Finance and Admin systems, procedures, Assets and Manuals.
  • Quality
    assurance of the Fin. and Admin. Department.
  • Provides
    strategic support to GEM-U Executive Director and Board of Directors,
    especially the Finance and Admin. Committee.
Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.     
Finance:
  • Manage
    all Finance and Accounting functions of the organization;
  • budgeting,
  • cash
    flow management,
  • audits
  • Financial
    accounting and reporting
2.    
Administration:
  • Grant
    and Contract Management; including soliciting funding and material support
  • Overall
    office operations
  • Procurement
  • Asset
    Management
3.    
Human
Resource:
  • Responsible
    for the HR oversight function of the organization
  • Responsible
    for staff capacity building and motivation
  • Organizational
    Policy dissemination and monitoring adherence
 Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • A
    Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration – majoring in
    Accounting and Finance
  • A
    Masters’ degree or relevant qualification
  • Certified
    Public Accountant [Professional training]
  • Higher
    qualification in Human Resource Management
  • At
    least 6 years’ experience in a similar position; [esp. NGO accounting for
    donor agencies]
  • Setting
    systems for financial management and control
  • Team
    leader, guide and mentor in Team work, Finance and Administration
  • Computer
    literacy and agility
  • Good
    Inter-personal, communication and report writing skills
  • Leadership
    and counseling skills
  • Self
    -motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
