Job Summary: The Ambulance Driver will provide emergency transport services and support to the URCS Response to Public Health Emergencies program across the Country.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·       Drive authorized staff and visitors to and from various locations as per organizations policy and procedures.
·       Maintain vehicles clean and in good mechanical conditions in line with URCS policies
·       Pick, deliver and account for all correspondences (mails, messages, parcels etc) in line with instructions and known office practice
·       Plan and budget for the vehicle and provide other logistical support and prepare periodic accountabilities
·       Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards
·       Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring report, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, mileage, at end of each month


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       Minimum of UCE or its equivalent
·       Training in; Defensive Driving
·       At least 3 years of driving with Government/NGOS
·       Good knowledge of; Traffic rules and regulations Country terrain
·       Local communities
·       High level of integrity
·       Ability to work under pressure
·       Good Communication skills
·       Good interpersonal skills
·       Problem Sensitivity:
·       Ability to analyze issues and identify problems.

Job Summary: The Driver / Field Security will assist in ensuring the success of IJM’s work by providing safe and secure transportation to IJM staff and performing miscellaneous casework related tasks.

Key Result Areas:
The success of this role is measured by the following KRAs:
IJM staff consistently receives transportation that is safe and timely.
IJM vehicles are used responsibly and are well taken care of.
Ensuring that security measures are implemented to protect staff on field visits

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·       Provide navigation and translation support for IJM staff.
·       Provide security support at IJM field visits and other events
·       Complete security risk assessments and incident reports as required.
·       Perform miscellaneous casework related tasks (delivering supplies, assist with surveys, run errands, etc.) as needed.
·       Events and Logistics:
·       Drive IJM’s vehicles for IJM staff, clients and guests for business purposes.
·       General tasks:
·       Assist in the cleaning, maintenance, repair, fueling and upkeep of IJM vehicles.
·       Assist in maintaining records of use, condition and fuel consumption of IJM vehicles.
·       Be responsive to security risks levels and mitigate risk accordingly.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       At least five years of experience as a professional driver.
·       Valid Driver’s License, certificate from defensive driving course, and experience driving manual vehicles on rough terrain.
·       Fluency in English and local languages, with excellent writing and speaking in both.
·       Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
·       Technical Competencies
·       Knowledge of geography and roads of Fort Portal, Gulu and surrounding areas.
·       Understanding of maintenance requirements for four-wheel-drive vehicles.
·       Familiarity with pricing for vehicle maintenance and repair.
·       Understanding of security protocols and procedures (emphasized requirement)
·       Non-Technical Competencies:
·       Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed.
·       Passionate commitment to IJM’s mission and values.
·       Professional in demeanor, appearance, writing and oral communication.

Job Summary:  The Driver will drive authorized passengers, transport goods and services (information) and check the mechanical condition of the World Vision vehicle regularly and act accordingly in line with World Vision policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
        Drive World Vision vehicles/authorized passengers to specified destinations as approved by the supervisor in line with World Vision vehicle usage policy.
        Deliver packages, goods and mails and any other information to specified people, places and offices in line with World Vision policies.
        Check the vehicle status/condition e.g. engine oil, water, nuts, battery water, license, Third Party Insurance, brakes, tyre pressure e.t.c prior to any journey and carry out regular vehicle repairs e.g. correcting hard start, tightening bolts and nuts, topping up battery water, e.t.c in line with World Vision policy. Maintain the hygiene of the vehicle
        Report all major and minor damages and accidents on the vehicle at hand to the supervisor in line with World Vision vehicle policies.
        Keenly monitor the security of vehicle, authorized passengers and luggage in line with the vehicle policy.
        Record and maintain a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours
        Maintain assigned vehicle in a clean state at all times.
        Prepare and submit vehicle monthly reports in line with the World Vision Vehicle Policy.
        The driver shall strictly observe Traffic Rules and Regulation and maximum speed limit as prescribed by the traffic regulatory authority.
        Observe and maintain the regular working hours and at all-time park the vehicle at the designated parking area.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
        The applicant for the World Vision Driver job placement should preferably hold an O’ level certificate (Uganda Certificate of Education).
        Holds a valid driving permit.
        At least three years of driving experience.
        Ability to prioritize work in relation to need and urgency.
        A working knowledge of photocopier, computer and telephone preferred

Job Summary: To provide reliable and courteous transportation service to EGPAF staff and visitors, ensuring safety of the Foundation staff, property and vehicles; and to operate and maintain assigned vehicle(s); and vehicle records.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Driver
·       Operates and maintains transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and courtesy.
·       Performs daily vehicle inspections and fill out daily inspection forms.
·       Performs minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
·       Manages the logging, fueling and computation of monthly vehicle fuel consumption.
·       Ensures that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
·       Ensures that vehicles are clean.
·       Documents staff usage of vehicles.
·       Prepares trip reports.
·       Prepares accident and incident reports as necessary.
·       Provides safety briefing to passengers.
·       Initiation of the PRFs and ensuring that the LPOs and Invoice details are correctly logged in the LPO Tracker.
·       Timely preparation of the Certificate of completion for both service and repairs
·       Timely reporting off all faults 

 Logistic Assistant
·       Delivering office supplies to district health Office and health facilities.
·       Retuning delivery documents to stores and register returned goods with stores.
·       Provides other services as requested by management.  Such services may include but not limited to:
·       Petty procurement of office consumables
·       Taking charge of the office generator (fueling and service)
·       Checking functionality/expiry of firefighting equipment
·       Payment of office utility bills.
·       Posting and collecting mails from the Post Office
·       Inspection of hired vehicles.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       Ability to drive a multi-passenger vehicle safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs in English
·       Ability to read, understand, and adhere to the rules and regulations of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Government of Uganda
·       Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to establish good working relationships with, co-workers, and upper level staff;
·       Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports; extensive knowledge of the operations and features of assigned vehicle(s);
·       Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs; ability to perform minor vehicle repairs; skilled in reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, and route directions; and
·       Good at correctly prioritizing  tasks 
·       Ability to administer First Aid.
·       Completion of O Level
·        Possession of a valid Ugandan drivers’ license - Classes: B, DL, & CM
·        Defensive driving certificate
·       5 years of driving experience   in a recognized NGO
