Job Summary:  The Quality Assurance Officer primarily ensures accuracy of information and quality of overall service delivery by auditing and monitoring sales and services engagement and recommending improvements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         Determines telesales quality standards by studying inbound and outbound calls and customer service presentations; conducting test calls to telesales service representatives on new products.
·         Verifies telesales results by measuring skills in use of scripts, product knowledge, sales and service ability, greeting, diction, listening, etiquette, objection handling, efficiency, and courteous close of call.
·         Provides feedback to telesales by monitoring calls; monitoring feedback for external vendor programs; conducting monthly help sessions.
·         Evaluates telesales approaches by rating effectiveness of service representatives; providing quality ratings; identifying training needs; developing training programs; conducting training.
·         Periodically undertake mystery shopping to monitor the quality level of sales engagement by all sales channels including third party agents.
·         Analysis of USSD engagement to determine or identify outliers which need training or assistance
·         Directs quality initiatives by requiring adherence to quality assurance policies and procedures; developing new models; implementing changes.
·         Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
·         Support the activities of the direct sales agents in the field by providing real time quality control support.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·         The applicant for the Quality Assurance Officer job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
·         At least two years of work experience quality assurance in the telco or financial sector
·         Experience in Quality inspection, auditing and testing
·         Experience in implementation of corrective action programs
·         Confidence
·         Listening and attention to detail
·         Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
·         Data collection, management and analysis – very good understanding of Excel
·         Problem analysis and problem solving
·         Planning and organizing
·         Judgment and Decision-making
·         Customer service orientation
·         Teamwork

Job Summary:  The Control Box Manager will lead and coordinate the monitoring of the MFS Agent Distribution Network to ensure optimal Agent service ratios and minimize Agent service malpractice. The incumbent will analyze Agent performance trends through collection and analysis /interpretation of data concerning MoMo Agent transaction behavior, channels, and penetration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Monitors and analyzes Agent transacting trends, by volume and type of transactions.
  • Monitor and assesses competition environment - Agents, services offered etc. - in order to plan support and estimate business impact.
  • Establish need for new agents in view of optimal customer to Agent ratio, business needs
  • Identifies and monitors competitors’ performance/influence and activities to anticipate competitor initiatives
  • Identifies and monitors external and internal factors that may affect business performance
  • Responsible for collection, analysis, interpretation and summarizing Agent distribution and penetration against business requirements
  • Analyses Agent malpractice behavior for multiple deposits, OTC and triggers request to transfer Agent to appropriate profiles
  • Reviews Agent hierarchy and territory distribution to ensure compliance with MTN distribution standards
  • Works closely with MFS BI to follow through Agents failing to pay for Extra float
  • Manage relationships with staff within the MFS Division, the Sales & Distribution Division and other Divisions to achieve objectives.
  • Engages and communicates with all stakeholders, both internally and external, in a respectful manner
  • Recognizes and rewards consistently good performance and celebrates success
  • Provides employees with development and learning opportunities in form of training, coaching and mentoring
  • Shares relevant information about Agent performance, challenges and key focus areas and provides feedback timeously
  • Takes firm action against poor performance, communicates expected behavior and performance behavior to employees
  • Supervision of Agents in the trade is ongoing and all agents in malpractice are followed through


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate for the MTN Uganda Control Box Manager job placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Commerce or business related degree
  • MBA with a bias in Finance, is an added advantage
