Job Summary:  The Executive Banker - Garden City will provide a responsive, pro-active, and proficient personal relationship banking service to a portfolio of executive banking customers in order to grow market share and retain existing business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Customer Service
  • Adhere to the service standards and provide excellent customer service
  • Drive  retention by implementing the customer on boarding process, customer visits, relationship management, and other various interventions
  • Receive and verify customer documents for account opening, facilities, account amendments and any other customer instruction according to laid down procedures
  • Educate customers about the Bank's products and services
  • Fully inform customers of their rights and obligations per the Consumer Protection Guidelines including but not limited to product pricing, facilities terms & conditions and transactional fees
  • Receive and process loan documents and handle related queries according to agreed upon turn around times and laid down procedures
  • Notify customers regarding the approval/decline of credit loan facilities, keep customers informed throughout the process and advise the customer of alternative options in case of a decline
Sales
  • Adhere to the Sales High 5 standards
  • Meet sales budgets and targets
  • Participate fully in any sales campaigns and activations
  • Explain credit loan facility options and qualifying criteria to customers; and support customers in the completion of credit application information requirements
  • Cross sell banking products to customers within the portfolio
  • Grow the portfolio balance sheet as per set targets
  • Develop and execute a sales activity plan and client calling schedule in line with the Customer Value Proposition (activity schedules and call reports)
Risk and Control
  • Adhere to the KYC policies and guidelines for both account opening and loan origination documents
  • Manage credit and operational risk in account opening and loan processing as per laid down procedures
  • Manage audit/risk parameters for the executive banking processes and resolve all audit/risk findings within the portfolio within agreed timelines.
  • Accountable for all facilities originated in the portfolio
  • Monitor and action daily referrals/validation reports within set timelines
People management
  • Agree performance contracts for the Executive Banking Assistant and provide monthly performance feedback in order to maintain performance at required levels
  • Coach/mentor and plan training interventions for the Executive Banking Assistant working with the Branch Sales Manager/Branch Manager


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Stanbic Bank Executive Banker - Garden City job should  hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or a related field from a recognized university
  • At least two years branch banking experience
  • Exposure to customer service required

Job Summary:  The Livelihoods Assistant - Cash Programme will support the Livelihoods Coordinator and Livelihoods Officer in the implementation of cash based intervention in Kyaka II refugee settlement. He/she will be responsible for project management, monitoring and reporting on cash based intervention in accordance with DRC programme guidelines and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Sensitize the community about cash-based interventions
  • Conduct assessment of needs and capacities of community for cash based interventions
  • Follow procedures and guidelines in implementation of cash-based interventions, and support in developing learning for improved cash strategies
  • Assess potential risks to recipients for cash based interventions and work with protection and other colleagues to ensure risk mitigation is integrated into programming
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps related to community based interventions among Livelihoods Field extension workers and address them through training and capacity building
  • Ensure that cash based intervention are implemented in accordance with project design and within the approved budgets, and in accordance with DRC policies and strategies including adherence to the recommended standards and commitments to accountability and quality.
  • Write timely quality; weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual reports
  • Contribute to the formulation of project proposals on cash based intervention
  • Develop key relationships with other cash actors to develop joint learning.
Staff development and management
  • Manage field based staff, volunteers, and community participants.
  • Uphold DRC’s international code of conduct.
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate for the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Livelihoods Assistant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture, market and business related course.
  • Two years of experience working with community development and livelihoods, preferably in a refugee setting
  • Proven experience in cash based programming
  • Proven experience managing community dialogues and working directly with beneficiaries
  • Competence using information technology including experience with word-processing, spreadsheets and database software.
  • High integrity and willingness to conduct her/himself transparently and open to scrutiny.
  • Strong empathy skills and genuine care and respect for needs of others especially female refugees and people with special needs.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
