Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for Compliance with Contractual Committees between Newrest and its Customers.
  • Ensure the sustainability of economic balances and ratios with a focus on food and labour cost as per the groups standards
  • Being a guarantor of implementation of HACCP procedures and standards, both on food and handling
  • Supervise recruitments of operational requirements while respecting the budgets prepared by the General Manager
  • Ensure proper Management, training and support teams
  • Ensure a good social climate, enforce and implement the agreements.
  • Responsible for monitoring inflight operations efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Our primary product is a lease to own motorcycle financing package which includes training, life and health insurance, and active support. With a market for motorcycle taxis of over 800,000 drivers in East Africa alone, Tugende is expanding rapidly in our core product. About this Role: This position will play an integral role in the operations of Tugende. The Senior Field Intelligence Officer will serve as the main point of contact between Tugende and clients who have any motorcycle security issues. The goal is to help Tugende in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our assets and our customers safe and problem free.

The position involves creating a secure work environment for our staff and customers. As a Senior Field Intelligence Officer, you will be responsible for minimizing theft, vandalism and any other suspicious or criminal behavior, working closely with relevant law enforcement authorities. You will also be a key point of contact for customers who have security challenges. , Respect, customer dignity and professionalism are key attributes for this job.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Operations support
·         Ensure all client security issues are dealt with integrity and in a timely manner.
·         Support the field team in coordinating Collection and Recovery operations
·         Ensure all field operations conducted by the Field Officers are managed effectively ,with safety & care
·         Coordinate all security related measures for Tugende, including making reports and follow ups with police and other relevant authorities
·         Maintain proper record keeping and timely reporting on any security and safety threats to the company
·         Ensure safe custody of all company property/assets at all times
·         Advise the company on all security related matters both internally and externally as well as participate in taking corrective/preventive actions on such matters
·         Supervise the day and night time security guards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·         The applicant should preferably hold a diploma in any business related field from a reputable institution of learning
·         Relevant training in security from a recognised institution
·         Two years’ work experience as a Security Officer in a reputable organisation..
·         Good customer experience and able to deal with difficult clients
·         Strong problem solving skills
·         Ability to quickly analyze information and take informed decisions
·         Good risk assessment skills
·         Ability to build strong professional networks
·         Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision

About US:
Mt. Elgon Labour-Based Training Centre (MELTC) is a Project under the Ministry of Works and Transport. MELTC is the National Training Centre for the application of Labour- Based Technology (LBT) in the rehabilitation and maintenance of National, District, Urban and Community Access Roads. The Training Centre is located 20 Kms from Mbale Town along the Mbale - Budadiri road; adjacent to Uganda Technical College-Elgon. The training conducted at MELTC is both classroom and field based.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Sensitizing MELTC staff, trainees and other stakeholders on environment and social safeguards in road works
  • Provide guidance to MELTC on new and emerging environmental and social safeguard policies, laws and regulations issued by regulators like NEMA
  • Provide technical support to community based initiatives on the renewal and sustainability of the natural environment
  • Participate in conducting Training Needs Assessments (TNA) for trainees in regard to environment and social safeguards in road works
  • Carry-out Environment and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) on training roads/sites and trial contracts and submitting them to NEMA for clearance and approval
  • Monitoring the implementation of the Environment and Social Management Plans (ESMP) in Local Governments
  • Preparing periodic reports on the state and implementation of environment and social safeguards
  • Preparing work plans and respective budgets for the implementation of environment and social safeguards in road works at MELTC and districts
  • Provide technical and outreach support to contractor trainees and local governments on the implementation of environment and social safeguards in road works
  • Participating in the updating and/or review of the MELTC training curriculum in regard to environment and social safeguards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s of science degree in Environmental Science/ Management
  • Three years of hands-on experience in mainstreaming environmental and social safeguard matters in the roads sub sector
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including team management and understanding others
  • Ability for conceptual and analytical thinking (to perform action research and theory-driven enquiry)
  • Ability to work independently & proactively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

Job Summary:  The Helper will support site maintenance services in providing cleaning, laundry, basic garden maintenance, porter duties and other related manual work, to ensure WFP premises are well-organised, kept in a clean & hygienic condition and are in compliance with the established standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Perform basic maintenance of outdoor/indoor environments, to keep them clean, well-organised and in a good condition.
  • Provide support in loading/offloading and moving office equipment, furniture, baggage and other items for efficient site maintenance services.
  • Support preparation and delivery of food and beverages, arrange for basic refurbishment and maintenance of kitchen area and equipment to facilitate efficient service.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of basic equipment and use of cleaning materials/solutions.

Job Summary:  The Head Security will be responsible for managing a team of security personnel to ensure the protection of property, assets, and people. S/He will also be responsible for patrol building perimeter, sets up secure point of entry, and investigate suspicious activity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Set up an effective security structures that meets the current and future security needs of JCRC.
  • Set up effective security systems, policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
