Job Summary:  The Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Intern  will be responsible for a Scaling up program “Development and Delivery of Biofortified Crops at Scale (DDBIO)” in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·       Support the design of simple monitoring tools for activities done among actors in the OFSP value chain.
·       Management of data (both monitoring data and survey data) as it comes from the field.
·       Use digital platforms to exchange information/ training messages to actors in the OFSP value chain while promoting production and consumption of OFSP.
·       Design digital tools including social media messages with the aim of increasing the visibility of CIP and promote OFSP within and outside Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       The ideal  candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any of the following: - Bachelor of Information Technology, computer science, computer engineering.
·       Knowledge on online marketing of products, computer programming, research field data collection will be an added advantage.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·       3D model high poly hard surface props
·       Create low poly versions of props ready for VR game engines
·       Create UV layouts and textures for PBR game rendering
·       Make sure art meets VR specs and works effectively inside of the game engine

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·       The ideal candidate must be able to present a portfolio of previous 3D artwork
·       At least 3+ years of working experience in the field of 3D prop art for games or films
·       Well-rounded understanding of hard-surface modelling
·       Proficient with at least one of the major 3D packages (3DS Max, Maya, Modo, or Blender)
·       Experience with high to low poly pipelines for games
·       Must be able to UV map and texture models (preferably for PBR rendering)
·       Ability to prioritise, hit deadlines, and maintain consistent productivity in a fast-paced environment
·       Demonstrated ability to define and drive art processes in a group setting, including giving, receiving, and internalising critical feedback
·       Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive nature
·       Additional information:
·       The candidate must have the willingness to travel

Job Summary:  The Data Assistant will assist implementation of strong data quality maintenance systems of the health unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        The Data Assistant will promote quality data standards at all points of service delivery by ensuring the generation and submission of accurate, timely, valid data to inform on quality improvement and reporting.
·        S/he will work closely with the health Information Assistant and respective unit in-charges to compile weekly, monthly and quarterly facility HMIS and PEPFAR reports.
·        Perform data entry to Uganda EMR. DH1S2. and RHITES-E Information Management system.
·        The incumbent will analyze and present performance data for key program indicators to inform decision making at facility level and participate in data cleaning and DQA activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        The ideal candidate for the USAID RHITES-E Project Data Assistant job placement must hold a diploma in Statistics. Records Management from a reputable institute
·        Possession of a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology will be an added advantage.
·        A minimum of two years of experience in handling, collecting, coding, and managing numerical data
·        Good computer literacy, especially, but not limited to Ms-Word. Excel. MS Access. Internet A web technology. as the incumbent will be involved in data entry into database systems
·        Additional training in information technology, database and records management is an added advantage
·        Good numeracy skills. Attention to detail and enjoy alphanumeric data entry.
·        Practical experience in working with government of Uganda health information systems (like Opens MRS Uganda EMR. DH1S2. and Track) is an added advantage
·        Hands-on knowledge and skills in data entry preferably in an HIV/AIDS, Family Health or a research- oriented organization
·        Good verbal communication and writing skills.
·        Willingness to work and travel in rural settings of Eastern and North-Eastern Uganda
·        Good data analysis skills using SPSS, STATA, or Epi-Info is an added advantage

Job Summary:   The ICT Clerk assists in the implementation of ICT policies and standards, provides ICT and administrative support services and daily technical support to end users. You will support the management of the organisation’s resources, assisting in implementing ICT standards, policies and procedures through managing applications, data, information and workflows. You will provide ICT and administrative support services and daily technical support to country office (CO) and field staff.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  
·        Supporting the implementation of ICT management systems and strategies; complying with corporate information technology standards for the CO, supporting the use of Enterprise Resource Planning systems for improved business results and improved client services;
·        Ensure that Back-up procedures are followed and all data is safe. Both Online and Offline back-ups should be well and maintained. This includes back-up on Cloud and local storage.
·        Management of the Local Area Network and related infrastructure consisting of the Access Control, CCTV system,  intrusion system, firewalls, telephone and printing management system in line with UN/UNFPA policies, standards and procedures.
·        Work with IT services provider(s)/ vendors to ensure the LAN is properly maintained and good practices of the UNFPA Policy are followed.
·        Work with IT services providers to proactively advise on the regular maintenance and possible improvement of ICT services.
·        Maintenance of up-to-date ICT inventory device and software allocation list all relevant documentation.
·        Provide timely IT support user support to all staff at the country office field locations.
·        Maintain and up-to-date IT risk register and work with IT focal person to develop and mitigation plan.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·        The ideal candidate for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) ICT Clerk job opportunity should have completed Secondary Level Education. University Degree in Computer Science desirable.
·        At least four years’ experience Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewalls), IP telephony, and other network-based systems administration.
·        Experience Windows Desktop and Server Administration
·        Experience in basic skills and knowledge IT infrastructure maintenance such as cabling, trunking, port repair
·        Experience in data security and protection through maintenance of Anti-Virus, Backup, User privilege management etc.
·        Basic skills and knowledge in Database management systems e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL  etc
·        Basic experience in Webserver management and application hosting e.g: Apache
·        Skills and knowledge in Linux administration is a desirable.
·        Languages: Fluency in English; knowledge of other official UN languages, preferably French and/or Spanish, is desirable.
