Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Maintaining communication and building excellent relationships with our clients.

·         Providing both technical and user support to clients (both B2B and B2C clients).

·         Logging service requests.

·         Rigorously analyze client requests and make sure that we resolve them to the best of our ability.

·         Assessing urgency and prioritize/escalate appropriately.

·         Owning a client request until it is resolved. This includes acting as the Product Owner in the cases where this is needed.

·         Following internal routines to resolve client support requests/concerns.

·         At all times, have an overview of incoming, ongoing, and resolved cases.

·         Obtain Customer feedback and relay to the Product Owner.

·         Building a comprehensive and detailed understanding of our solutions and technology.

·         Be a critical and thorough test user of new features and updates.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·         Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.

·         A technology background, either through work experience or a degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, or any other engineering field.

·         A self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently.

·         The ability to communicate clearly and timely to clients (this includes system developers, users, and internal staff)

·         The ability to translate, relay, and explain complex problems in a simple and understandable language.

·         A thorough and methodical attitude to problem-solving.

·         A strong preference to follow processes, routines, and checkboxes.

·         Experience/knowledge of mobile, web, or Fintech solutions development (this is not a demand, but a clear advantage).



·         Experience with JIRA / other project management tools

·         Experience with end-user training

·         Experience with L2 support & technical communication

·         At least two years’ experience working in a technical support role (end-user support or B2B)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with good Overall GPA (Minimum 2nd Class upper). Certificates like MCSE, CCNA, Oracle Certified professional etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Applicant should have team building, computer and excellent interpersonal communication skills, besides high degree of integrity & confidentiality.
  • Candidate should have satisfactory experience, preferably -3- years, of which about -12- months or more of experience in organizations dealing with Banking / Finance / Supporting banking applications and should possess the following:
  • Proficient knowledge of UNIX/LINUX / Windows & Oracle Database administration.
  • Proficient knowledge in SQL & Transact SQL
  • Knowledge of programming (Shell Scripting).
  • Basic knowledge of Networking (WAN) & Security. Knowledge of Banking Software like Finacle/ Equinox/Bankmaster etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Age: Maximum 30 years. About the role: In this position, Tugende is searching for an experienced and knowledgeable Database Administrator (DBA), with experience working in fast paced environments, to serve the needs of a fast growing company. Tugende is rapidly expanding its reach both geographically and also in terms of products and services to more customer segments. This implies reliance on systems and data to make the right decisions on a day to day basis in an efficient way, hence the need for the DBA.


The DBA will be the main “custodian” of the company’s databases. About US:

The Women’s Situation Room (WSR) is a neutral, non-partisan mechanism that mobilizes women and youth to promote peaceful and democratic electoral processes. The WSR also promotes the enhanced participation of women in peace building in line with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325.


Founded by The Angie Brooks International Centre in Liberia, the WSR was first implemented in 2011 during the presidential elections in Liberia. It has, since then, been replicated in Uganda in 2016 and in other African countries including Senegal, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana. It has been acknowledged as an effective mechanism for promoting peaceful elections by the United Nations Security Council and by the African Union, which requested that the WSR be implemented in all African elections.


The WSR involves all electoral stakeholders in consultative engagements to ensure peace before, during and after elections. It includes a physical Situation Room where women are involved in advocacy for peace; political and legal analysis of the situation; and interventions that may include mediation to avert conflict.


The overall objective of the WSR Uganda 2021 is to promote the full and active participation of women and youth in ensuring peaceful elections and to contribute to the strengthening and refinement of the WSR mechanism for ensuring peace in African elections. The Women’s Situation Room Uganda will be hosted by Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET); with the Women’s International Peace Centre serving as the WSR Secretariat.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the National Coordinator, the IT Specialist will perform the following functions:

  • Management and coordination the WSR IT infrastructure design, planning and implementation
  • Development of guidelines for WSR IT management
  • Ensuring quality and timely delivery of IT products and services; maintenance and continual updating of systems set-up
  • Monitoring IT connectivity status of all WSR sites; monitoring of speed and quality of connectivity and taking corrective actions as necessary
  • Monitoring and provision of protection for IT equipment against risks
  • Development of a WSR database of information, ensuring adequate storage and protection
  • Design of an online interface for the WSR that allows different project-related teams to connect and access information for project-related needs in a timely manner
  • Development of a User Manual and troubleshooting for  the duration of the project
  • Orientation of WSR Secretariat staff, Eminent Women and Steering Committee in the use of IT and online communications as may be required due to COVID-19 prevention restrictions of the Elections Roadmap.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Data or Computer Sciences or related discipline
  • Knowledge of and understanding of computer analysis packages such SPSS, Excel and others.
  • Working knowledge of Information Technologies
  • Experience with Windows services, web technologies, web services
