·         Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance

Job Summary:  The accounts Assistant will  support the operations of the Accounting & Finance functions, the Accounts Assistant provides operational and administrative assistance by performing a variety of administrative, information management, coordination and Record keeping services.
Works in collaboration with all managers to ensure delivery of Accounting outcomes.
Special conditions some travel may be required between the SPOUTS head office and the factory at Nakawuka.

Key Duties And Responsibilities: 
·         Take part in providing a financial and accounting service to SPOUTS, including the maintenance of systems and processes, to support business decision making and ensure that SPOUTS meet all compliance requirements.
·         Daily Petty cash management, i.e; disbursement, and recording the data in the accounting systems
·         Raising and issuing non D2C invoices, in line with the company’s credit control policy and customer credit limits
·         Receiving and recording cash payments at the Head Office, and thereafter banking and maintaining all supporting documentation for the cash received
·         Managing and updating the daily meals records to ensure correctness at the end of each day
·         Providing support towards filing statutory tax obligations as and when delegated by your supervisor
·         Provide support in receipt of D2C and other customer payments that may come through the MM platforms
·         Assist in Stock management tasks, and participate in month end stock counts at various locations as delegated by the supervisor
·         Filing expense receipts and invoices
·         Contribute to implementing and maintaining financial policy and planning processes.
·         Monitoring the petty cash limits (through the petty cash system) of the various department heads and notifying once the limit is breached.
·         Demonstrate corporate responsibility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·         Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will inspire and motivate your team to deliver the five star service Qatar Airways is renowned for.
·         You will ensure that the Airport Operations run smoothly and efficiently conforming to all safety and security requirements.
·         You will champion the Qatar Airways customer, employees, our contractors and our Airline in all phases of the airport operation to provide a safe, professional and on time operation that exceeds the internal and external customer expectations.
·         Responsible for training and resource planning, you will recommend staffing levels, plan and implement working schedules, implement necessary controls and ensure compliance with labour laws.
·         You will handle irregular operations at minimum cost whilst ensuring an impeccable level of customer service and ensure operations are within budget.
·         You will monitor all airport use agreements, rental agreements and third party service providers.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
·         The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
·         Solid experience in a managerial role within an airport environment
·         Current or previous experience working as an Airport Manager with an airline
·         Strong management background with the ability to inspire a team
·         Extensive overall knowledge across all areas of airport operations is required
·         Proven experience in Crisis Management
·         Strong commercial acumen
·         Ability to work shifts is essential
·         Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
