Headquartered at Kyengera Mall, Kampala, HWTU serves clients across Uganda and the wider East African region, guiding them toward study, scholarship, travel, and other related international opportunities in Europe, the UK, Canada, the United States, Australia, and beyond.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visa processing and documentation guidance
- International university admissions advisory and application support
- Scholarship search and matching based on student profiles
- Student mobility coordination and pre-departure preparation
- Travel advisory and eligibility assessment
- Liaison with universities and International Offices on behalf of students
- Professional guidance on global education pathways and entry requirements
- Advise students on suitable universities and programs abroad
- Guide students through international university applications
- Liaise with international universities and International Offices (USA, Canada, Europe, Australia)
- Support preparation of admission and visa documentation
- Track student applications and admission progress
- Maintain records of student placements and partner institutions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience working with international education systems and university admissions processes is highly emphasized
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and professional email writing skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Knowledge of international admissions systems and application portals is an added advantage

- Strong research skills to identify suitable universities and programs
- Solid understanding of international education pathways and entry requirements
- Ability to compare requirements across institutions ant countries
- Confidence using digital tools, websites, and application portals
- High attention to detail when reviewing academic documents

- Understands international student journeys, university systems, visa documentation, and global engagement processes
