Job Summary: As an Administrative Assistant Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of Wezesha Impact’s Lira office. Your contributions will ensure the smooth functioning of administrative tasks, facilitating the organization’s mission to improve youth employment outcomes in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Entitlements
- Monthly Stipend
- Transportation: Daily commute to and from the office.
- Meals: Lunch and refreshments during office hours.
- Communication: Mobile airtime and internet data for work-related purposes.
- Training and Capacity Building
- Onboarding orientation: Introduction to Wezesha Impact’s mission, values, and operational procedures.
- Skill development workshops: Access to internal training sessions to enhance administrative and professional skills.
- Mentorship: Guidance and support from experienced staff for personal and professional growth.
- Professional Experience
- Hands-on exposure to real-world administrative tasks.
- Networking opportunities with professionals and stakeholders in the sector.
- Certificates and References
- Completion certificate upon successful volunteer term.
- Recommendation letters based on performance to support future job applications.
