Mavid Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a Ugandan based manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of quality and cost effective drugs.
Job Summary: The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for performing analytical tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control tests using analytical instruments and techniques such as HPLC, UV spectrophotometry, and titration.
- Record, analyze, and interpret laboratory data in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate and updated laboratory records and logs.
- Report any deviations or non-conformities in test results to the supervisor or QA team.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
