Job Summary: This role involves developing and implementing cash management strategies and driving the sales and growth of cash management solutions and revenue maximisation within the bank. This role involves managing client relationships, developing strategies to meet client needs in all segments, incl. Corporate, SMEs, Institutions and government parastatals in the areas of Cash Management
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities for cash management services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Prepare and present proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Increase market penetration and share of wallet for assigned portfolio and identified clients through sales of Transactional Banking solutions
- Identify opportunities for new/incremental business with bank clients and work with the relevant stakeholders to turn these opportunities into revenue for the bank
- Recommend products / services with a clear understanding of corporate/BB client need.
- Ensure overall attainment of all cash management target in the bank.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Understand clients’ cash management needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Product Knowledge and Expertise
- Maintain a deep understanding of the bank’s cash management products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide guidance and training to clients and internal teams on cash management solutions.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work with internal departments (e.g., operations, IT, risk management) to ensure effective implementation and delivery of cash management solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor sales performance and track progress against targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market conditions.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Risk Management
- Ensure that all cash management solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Address any issues or concerns related to service delivery or compliance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in banking or financial services with a focus on cash management and sales and transactional banking.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager managing corporate and institutional clients.

- Knowledgeable in Trade Finance transactions and its associated processes
