Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated candidate to fill the role of a Field Facilitator for an anticipated ENABEL funded project. S/he will play an important role in supporting the project’s implementation strategies using market facilitative approach. The field facilitator position will support the Intervention Manager in implementation of WeWork project and will be based in the field locations. S/he is a key technical member of the project implementation team and will work directly with the supported businesses and young entrepreneurs in the horticultural value chain.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing monthly, quarterly & annual field work/activity plans for the horticultural interventions.
Coordination with local CBOs, NGOs and other institutions for business linkages
Coordination and support for implementing project activities.
Mobilization, awareness, follow ups of the micro and small businesses
Assisting in data collection for case studies and life stories, Monitoring and Result Management
Close coordination with the intervention managers in brainstorming initiatives for the implementation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience preferably in field-based roles in the private sector with the desire to transition to development. Or development sector experience working with agriculture development project.
Bachelor’s degrees in business, Development studies, Agricultural Economics, Finance, and Economics, Public Policy, Rural Development, Enterprise Development or another field.
Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture sector remains a priority for this position.
