Job Title:   Pipeline Data Analyst

China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. (U), Ltd was established on 31st November 2014.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and integrate data from various sources, including sensors, monitoring equipment, and historical records, to create a comprehensive dataset for analysis.
  • Apply advanced data processing techniques to clean, preprocess, and transform raw pipeline data into a structured format suitable for analysis.
  • Develop and implement data-driven algorithms and models for early leak detection, enabling rapid response and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Implement robust data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive pipeline data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a High School Diploma or 7 years of technical experience in Data Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on data analysis. Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of pipeline and piping systems, including their operation and maintenance, is a significant advantage.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to pipeline operations.
