Starting Salary: 500,000 UGX – 800,000 UGX

In 1979, our first product was baked giving birth to Ntake bakery. Since then we have grown into a multi sector business comprising of a bakery, wheat mill and paper recycling plant. With household names like Kaswa baking flour, AAA tissue and our bread which has come to be simply known as Ntake, we have endeared ourselves to the hearts of many Ugandans.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Decorating cakes according to the customers’ needs and requirements
- Consulting with customers to discuss desired cake designs and cake decorating ideas.
- Producing different kinds of icing, frosting, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences.
- Reading customer orders and interpreting the design they want
- Measuring, cutting and preparing cakes for decorating
- Creating custom cake designs.
- Making sure all decorations are food safe.
- Keeping track of orders and keeping the workspace clean and organized.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven baking and cake decorating experience.
- The ability to use various cake decorating instruments and tools.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented.
- Artistic and creative.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
