Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Tourism Manager to join our team. As a Regional Tourism Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing tourism initiatives to drive visitor traffic, enhance the local economy, and promote our region as a premier travel destination.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive regional tourism strategies to increase visitor arrivals and tourism-related revenue.
- Collaborate with local and international businesses, government agencies, and community partners to create and promote tourism packages and experiences.
- Manage and lead a team of tourism professionals, ensuring they are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging travel trends and opportunities for growth.
- Monitors and analyze tourism metrics and data to measure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hotels, restaurants, attractions, and travel agencies.
- Oversee budgeting and financial planning for tourism initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience.
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management.
- Proven experience in tourism management, with a minimum of 8 to 10 in a leadership role
- At least two years of experience in the international market.
- Passion for promoting and showcasing the region’s attractions and culture.
- Strong knowledge of the regional tourism industry and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and budget management.
