Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Fresher Diploma Jobs)

About US:
Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) is a semi-autonomous agency of Government responsible for maintenance, coordination, supervising and monitoring of the National Statistical System to ensure the collection, analysis and dissemination of standardised statistical information. The Bureau is also mandated as the principal official statistics producing agency in the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect the cleanliness of the UBOS premises.
- Provide protective gears and uniforms to support staff.
- Participate in the Implementation of safety guidelines and procedures
- Compile monthly activity reports
- Undertake regular inspection of the furniture and fittings and report to officer in charge.
- Participate in the preparation of the section’s budget, and workplan.
- Prepare and submit timely accountability for resources.
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Public Administration, Logistics Management or any other relevant field.
- Should have obtained a credit in Mathematics and English at O’ Level
- Computer literate, able to use of Microsoft office Applications (MS Excel, MS Word, Power point)
- Excellent communication, planning & organising skills.
- Interpersonal teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask.
