Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This role establishes and monitors financial reporting systems, and prepares financial reports. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.
  • Contact and update member details for 49 participating employers
  • Reconcile workbook payments with those in the system for the 49 participating employers
  • Confirm accuracy of all contributions captured in the system, and update where they are missing
  • Confirm accuracy of interest computations for all the 49 participating employers over the years i.e from 2016 to 2021
  • Process and confirm accuracy of claims paid both in and outside the system, while updating the system with all claims paid from outside.
  • Update URBRA details into the system for the 49 participating employers, ensuring reports are accurately being produced.
  • Update the details of the 49 participating employers in the system, checking accuracy of vesting scales, member classes and cost centers
  • Confirm that the deeds of adherence conform to the provisions of the URBRA Act and those of the trust deeds and rules.
  • Any other roles as assigned from time to time
  • Establishes and monitors financial reporting systems.
  • Maintains records of transactions made by the business unit.
  • Prepares accounts, statements, invoices and tax returns.
  • Provides information on organisation or company management and financial systems for financial reporting purposes.
  • Prepares budgets, plans and cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepares and writes financial reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold an Honours Degree (Hons): Finance And Accounting Public (Required)
  • Accountable, Budgeting, Business, Business Management, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Invoices, Payments
