Job Title: Junior Auto Mechanic

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Supports: All Drivers

About US:

Graphic Systems is the largest printing and packaging company in Uganda. It supplies indoor and outdoor print advertising collateral, commercial printing, cartons, labels and promotional items. In addition the company manufactures corporate wear and garments.

Job Summary: The primary objective of the employee will be to inspect and repair vehicles, light and heavy trucks. He will oversee vehicle maintenance inspections, monitor inventory, assemble mechanical components, and perform minor repairs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The ideal applicant must hold a Degree/ Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering And Or Certificate From A Vocational School Of Auto Engineering.
• Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
• Experience: 3-5 Years in A Busy Automotive Industry Dealing with Toyota, Suzuki & Volkswagen Brands.
• Age: Above 30 – 40 Years
• Proven experience and extensive mechanical knowledge as Auto mechanic.
• Technical Proficiency & basic computer skills.
• Safety management skills
• Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for Problem solving & high level of honesty.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle Diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and Customer Care skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• A valid driving License.
