Job Title:   HCM Graduate Trainee (Fresher Jobs)

Mercy Corps is taking a community-led, market driven approach to address poverty and food insecurity needs through interventions that get to the root causes and contributing factors of economic vulnerability.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

HR Database

  • Responsible for the development and updating of trackers including but not limited, HR data tracker, Leave tracker, etc.
  • Providing support for entries in HCM and ensuring that it is always up to date
  • Managing the HR data and providing information for the HR reports.

Recruitment

  • Provide Support to the HRO on recruitment documentation.

Policy

  • Ensure code of conduct course compliance through follow-up and reminders to staff.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resource, Business Administration, or any related discipline in people function.
  • A post-graduate qualification in Human resources, Organizational Psychology, or any related discipline would be an added advantage
  • One to two years of experience in this similar HR support role.
  • A high degree of organizational skills using computer-based tools/software with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate frequently and effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Willing to travel upcountry on a monthly basis to support the HR function at the field level.
  • Proven ability to conduct him/ herself professionally under pressure.
  • Previous experience as a full/part-time staff with Mercy Corps and demonstrated knowledge of Mercy Corps systems, procedures, and program priorities is an advantage.
