Job Summary: To implement a sustainable technology and operations risk assurance capability by executing, investigating, monitoring and reporting on a riskbased combined assurance plan for engineering, technology and or related risks. Work towards positive outcomes on all risk assessments conducted by internal and external parties in order to contribute to the assurance that business is undertaken in a compliant manner to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage to the organisation.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health checks per weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly risk reviews list in line with the agreed Governance, Risk & Control framework, policies, procedures and service level agreements
  • Contribute to the periodic and adhoc system, process or data related reviews as per the respective plan
  • Collect, capture and maintain GRC data to ensure information is reliable to enable effective decisionmaking
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders relevant to the Governance, Risk and Control area of specialisation
  • Responsible for document management as it pertains to Business Continuity Management (BCM) to ensure documentation is uptodate and available for submission to internal and external audit team




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Audit, Banking, Legal or any appropriate field of study
  • At least three to four years of experience in the realm of performing detailed analysis in order to identify trends and implement mitigating actions in order to provide assurance.
  • Three to four years of experience in banking environment and understands bank processes, products, data and systems. Dealing with different stakeholders at different levels both internal and external.
