Job Title:    Senior Android Developer

CIM Innovations is a technology company providing technology solutions for clients in West Africa, South Africa and large parts of Europe.

Job Summary:  We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the maintenance of our existing applications. Your primary focus will be the maintenance and occasional development of Android application and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• At least two years of experience in Android application programming.
• Strong knowledge of Android Programming using Java
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with back-end languages preferably PHP
