Job Title:  Legal Clerk (Fresher Job Opportunities)

Reports to: Legal Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Filing and registration of all securities and other legal documents prepared in connection with the loan documentation process.
• Responsible for filing, certification and registration of all documents required by law to be filed by the MFI for example Resolutions, Returns, among others.
• Preparation and updating of the securities registers.
• Facilitating review and audit of securities in the MFI’s possession and advise on the remedial process.
• Filing and maintaining a register of Agreements entered into by the MFI.
• Delivery of all legal related correspondences to law firms, courts of law or any other office.
• Ensure that all records of the Legal department are properly filed.
• Keep abreast with all current and relevant legislation regarding registry matters and perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The ideal applicant must hold a Diploma in Law
• Process server certificate
• Financial analysis skills.
• Understanding of perfection of securities procedures.
• Basic IT skills
