About US:

Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a non-governmental organization that implements Development Communication programs aimed at influencing positive behavior change for the social development of men, women and children in Uganda and the entire East African Region.


Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) with support from The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) will implement malaria grant activities supported by The Global Fund in the Eastern Cluster for the period 2022-2023.


CDFU will support implementation of interventions that fall under five (5) broad categories: Integrated Community Case Management (iCCM), IEC/BCC Vector Control, Private Sector Case Management, Quality of Care & Institutional Capacity Building, planning and leadership development. The interventions are expected to be implemented in 11 Eastern cluster districts of Kapelebyong, Amuria, Soroti, Serere, Pallisa, Butebo, Kaberamaido, Kalaki, Dokolo, Alebtong, Amolatar.


Job Summary:  The Project Coordinator will work at the Strategic level to provide overall support for project implementation of activities including oversight of work plan implementation, integration, accounting, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Human Medicine or related field.
  • At least five years of experience in implementation of integrated Community Case Management of malaria in Uganda.
  • Demonstrate knowledgeable practice of working with districts, non-governmental and community-based organizations as well as government departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Good presentation and writing skills with computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
