Job Summary:  CERFODES is looking for an analytical, results-oriented and self-driven individual to fill the position of M&E Associate. The Monitoring and Evaluation Associate will work closely with technical staff to develop technical concepts, guidelines, manuals, procedures and improve quality enhanced data management systems and processes.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the field activities based on project implementation plan through monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • Assist to develop operational monitoring tools (checklists, questionnaires, databases, interview and survey forms, etc.).
  • Regular data collection, data entry & data analysis based on project requirements ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide timely inputs for new initiatives and improvements on M&E issues to the project team.
  • Participate in the project’s quality, implementation, particularly through identifying weaknesses and strengths in CERFODES M&E issues and report to the project team.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the project’s results and achievements.
  • Actively collaborate with Project Coordinators and provide inputs to develop databases on project activities and assist to update regularly the database according to the project requirements.
  • Actively participate in project implementation & coordination meetings.
  • Assist to develop technical concepts, guidelines, manuals, procedures, concept papers on M&E issues upon request from the management team.
  • Provide inputs to project reports and publications upon request from the project team.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly schedule of monitoring and evaluation related activities.
  • Provide M&E reports on a regular basis to the project team.
  • Assist to maintain a clear and transparent filing system.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a University degree in Statistics, Social Sciences or related field.
  • At least three years of M&E experience.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, statistical tools such as R, Tableau, Python, etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communications skills; written and oral.
  • Ability to consistently pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
