Job Summary:  We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated person who is passionate about change management to join us as a Human Resources Officer


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the review of organizational policies, systems and procedures and provide technical support to staff and management in line with the Human Resources policies.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive filing system and the human resources information system for HR related documents and reports
  • Ensuring that all HR payments and payrolls are accurately and timely processed.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource national requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
  • Making and submitting monthly Human Resource department reports
  • Any other duty as may be assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology and or Human resources management
  • At least three years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of ISO standards will be an added advantage
