Job Summary:  CERFODES is looking for a people-oriented, results-oriented and self-driven individual to fill the position of Human Resources Associate. The HR Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations including managing employee relations and occasionally be part of project teams providing HR advisory to clients.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate the development and implementation of HR processes and systems.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment activities by preparing job descriptions, sourcing for candidates and managing the interview process.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding and orientation plans.
  • Plan for deployment of consulting teams on projects.
  • Prepare and oversee the implementation of performance management tools.
  • Participate in consulting projects and provide HR advisory to clients.
  • Maintain accurate employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Address employee needs in an effective and timely manner.
  • Validate monthly payroll.
  • Draft contracts and any other correspondence to staff and consultants for sign-off by management.
  • Administration and tracking of leave.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a University degree in Business, HR or related field.
  • Three years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
  • Excellent communications skills; written and oral.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
