Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You process files that require specific public procurement expertise in order to ensure proper contractual management respecting deadlines, budget constraints and public procurement regulations;
  • You advise internal clients of the Interventions and Representation in order to help them achieve their operational objectives and develop their skills;
  • You identify and capitalize on knowledge to better share it and rationalise it in order to facilitate access for colleagues hence ensure adequate management of public procurement;
  • You check and compare information and reports in order to guarantee that data/information is correct to qualify for a correct procurement procedure;
  • You follow-up procurement files for audit purposes and guarantee good communication with all parties (Internal and external).




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management;
  • A Masters’ Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and additional Advancement in Procurement Qualifications (e.g. CIPS) will be of an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Public Procurement and Grants Management in International Organisations and/or Public Administration.
  • Knowledge of ICT tools, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases, social media platforms,
  • Strong (written and oral) Communication skills: expressing ideas and opinions clearly in a structured manner that appeals to the reader
  • Autonomous worker and team player; solution and result oriented, support and service minded, flexible and structured; effective communicator; pro-activity and meticulous.
  • You show respect and are able to build relations on the basis of credibility and expertise.
  • You show engagement, sense of responsibility and integrity.
