Badaye Technologies Ltd  is an incorporated technological company founded in 2016, that develops and improves innovative but scalable ideas to life in Africa. We do technological research and development in Computer Aided Designs (CAD), product development and manufacturing, automation and consultancy in the fields of agricultural engineering and food systems, intelligent and automated systems, energy systems and environment.

 

Job Summary:  The ideal candidate will come from a product development background, predominantly working on electronic development. Ideally, the candidate should have experience of product development life cycle. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Research and Development Department in the development lifecycle of electronic equipment in agriculture, water and sanitation, health, and other related company dockets.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and engineering know how to deliver projects
  • Work to progress driven design using formal methods
  • Provide technical support to other engineering team members
  • Assist in the delivery of projects on time and on budget
  • Support hardware/software integration and testing
  • Test and validate prototypes and production products




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Working experience in electronics field is preferred.
  • Have a broad understanding of electronic discipline, candidate will be expected to work on all aspects of the product life cycle for new and existing products.
  • Knowledge of general analogue and digital circuits and their design principles
  • Professional attitude, good communicator – both written and verbal
  • Flexible, can-do approach
  • Good at fault finding and determining root cause
  • Enjoys both pure design and hands-on development environment
  • Self-motivated to seek tasks through to successful completion
