Job Summary:  The Infrastructure Administrator will maintain,  monitor  and  support  the  IT  infrastructure  of  Pride  including  hardware,  software  and  other  related  infrastructure  peripherals,

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Install  and  configure  peripherals,  services,  settings,  storage  etc.  in  accordance  with  standards  and  project/operational  requirements.

• Develop procedures  for  infrastructure  hardware  and  software  installation  and
• Monitor the  installation  of  licensed  applications  on  new  computers  and
• Ascertain that  set  procedures  are  followed  during
• Review, report  and  recommend  improvements  on  IT
• Support the  ICT  Security  manager  in  implementing  ICT  security

Supervise  troubleshooting  and  backing  up  of  information  systems

• Review incidents,  preventive  maintenance  report,  and  maintenance
• Resolve IT  infrastructure  incidents  escalated  to  level
• Monitor status  of  ICT  assets,  products,  services  and  protocols  and  make  recommendations  for
• Coordinate periodic  backing  up  of  information

Perform  daily  ICT  system  monitoring.

• Review the  register  of  IT  assets,  their  location  and  notify  ICT  Manager  Infrastructure  of  any
• Check for  movement  of  assets  and  proper  documentation  has  been

Carry  out  performance  reporting.

• Prepare and  submit  reports  on  performance  of  ICT
• Review service  level  agreements  and  ensure  service  providers
• Review performance  of  hardware  and  software  and  report  incidents  of  below  standards
• Monitor infrastructure  performance

Maintain  data  center  environmental  and  monitoring  equipment.

• Verify all  servers  and  network  equipment  is  up  and running
• Verify all  servers  can  access  the  storage

Maintain  documentation  for  infrastructure  projects.

• Review requests  for  proposals,  bids  and  contracts  and  support  the  ICT  Manager  Infrastructure  in  the  selection  of  service
• Liaise with  service  providers  in  the  delivery  of  service
• Respond to  inquiries  and  issues

Key  Performance  Indicators

• Interfaced and  installed  infrastructure
• Minimal complaints  of  infrastructure  failure
• Up to  date  installation,  design  and  communicated  to  users
• Placement of  all  infrastructure
• Delivery of  ICT  resources  performance

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in  Computer  Science/Information  Technology  or  any  other  related  field
• Certification in  MCSA,  CSA,  CCNA  and  any  other  networking  certification
• At least  three  years  experience  in  a  busy  ICT  environment
• IT literacy  across  a  range  of  Microsoft  Products,  Cisco
• Analytical and  able  to  integrate  information
• Motivational
• Good communication
• Self-motivated
• Decision making
• Age Limit: 35 Years
