About US:

The International
Institute of Rural Reconstruction and Acholi Private Sector Development Company
is anticipating a 2 year project to be implemented in the Districts of Eastern
and Northern Uganda Districts of Bukedea, Bulambuli, Buyende, Iganga, Jinja,
Kamuli,Mbale, &Soroti  in Maize value
and rice enterprise – Amuria, Bukedea, Bulambuli, Butaleja, Kamuli, Kween,
Namutumba, &Sironko, Amolatar, Gulu, Oyam, Pader for the maize enterprise
and Amolatar, Gulu Kitgum, Nebbi Oyam, Pader District. The project will
implemented along the Rice and Maize value chains. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       The applicant must hold a Masters’ Degree in
Community Development, Rural Development or any other relevant fields.

·       A minimum of five years of relevant
experience in rural development activities such as capacity building, training
and mentoring for inclusive agribusiness development, processing and value
addition.

·       Comprehensive understanding of agricultural
development involving public and private sectors.

·       Proven track record of achieving results in
related activities in rural setting.
