About Health Program:

Our Health
intervention in Uganda began in 2008 to ensure that people living in poverty
can access quality, affordable health services. The goal of the projects is to
lower morbidity and mortality among children under five from diseases such as
diarrhea, pneumonia, and malaria: improve maternal health: improve basic
essential healthcare services in rural areas: and improve the nutritional
status of smallholder families with a focus on pregnant women, children under
five and adolescent girls.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Conducting
RGIL CHP trainings and performance assessment.

·       
Ready to
work on Sundays to motivate the CHPS to earn more income and provide eyeglasses
to communities through places of worship.

·       
Updating
regularly on the sales made.

·       
Conduct
research and apply technical skills, standards, and innovation to carry out
project activities that arise thought the project.

·       
Visit
and supervise community events with CHPs

·       
Ensure
the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and
exploitation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on
safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

·       
Practice,
promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and
ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

·       
Follow
the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes
place, encourage others to do so.

·       
Participate
in other related activities, responsibilities, and project needs that arise.

 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The ideal
candidate should have: Diploma in Business Administration or any other business
related course

·       
Two years’
experience in sales and marketing

·       
Ability
to create new posts of sale

·       
A
commitment to excellent customer services

·       
Excellent
written verbal communication skills

·       
Ability to
work under pressure and minimum supervision especially government (district,
health centers and local level officials)
