Job Summary:  Watoto is seeking to recruit a Physiotherapist
to provide physical therapy services to Watoto community clinics, Baby Watoto
and Watoto Homes.

                                                                                                              

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
To
manage caseload of children, mothers and other team members with physical
therapy needs.

·       
To
diagnose, assess and treat patients and to advise them to adopt to a healthy
lifestyle.

·       
To
establish systems for case load management, evaluation and effective reporting
to enable support with monitoring patients progress.

·       
To
develop policies, procedures and guidelines related to physical therapy
management in Watoto.

·       
To
sensitize patients and caregivers on individual physical therapy needs.

·       
To
formulate and provide training programs to mothers and nannies in physical
therapy routines of children with rehabilitation needs and ensure consistent
implementation.

·       
To
update the rehabilitation coordinator with information on the latest
advancements in physiotherapy to support in effective decision making.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the Watoto Physiotherapist career opportunity must hold a
diploma in Physiotherapy.

·       
At least
two years of experience as a Physiotherapist preferably pediatric in a large
and busy organisation.

·       
The
applicant should be a team player, result oriented, and able to work under
minimum supervision.

·       
The
ability to build rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds.

·       
Good
physical health and fitness.
