high quality construction/building equipment and material brands manufactured
in Kenya, Uganda and other countries. We also deal in consumer goods and
gardening tools which we distribute and sell through our various outlets


Key Duties and
The Sales and
Marketing Manager is a member of our management team whose key responsibilities
are to:

sales strategy:
B2B marketing,
Market research (Market intelligence), developing and implementing route to
market strategies, new market penetration, territory management and key
accounts management for   Fast-moving
consumer goods.

company revenues:
Develops and
coordinates sales activities within the sales plan that maximizes sales volume
for the company expanding company’s customer base / increase market share and
revenue growth.

of customer database:
and update relevant information for both existing and prospecting customers
e.g. contacts using available tools and systems.

customer service standards:
embeds practices of good customer service among sales teams and tracks/monitors
feedback with customers in order to foster efficiency and quick Turn Around
Time in customer feedback management that is critical in the sustaining growth
of sales for the company and customer relationships.

Develops and submits
timely and accurate sales reports such as; sales reports, market intelligence
reports, sales forecasts, monthly stock orders, debt collections report so as
to track performance against set targets, enhance accountability and growth of
the sales segment within the company.

Advisory: Determinefast moving/selling products,
purchasing patterns, domarket intelligence within key competitors and advise
the Managing Director and key stakeholders accordinglyon appropriate product
mix, pricing and margins.

Takes full
responsibility for performance management of all direct reports, focusing on
all aspects of sound people management e.g. set their monthly /weekly targets
and KPIs to ensure the products is available in the market at all times and
also hold regular sales departmental meetings to evaluate performance, solve
any issues and cascade the plans& targets for the coming month.

on credit sales
: Liaise with
Finance department in follow-up on credit sales to ensure that payments are
made promptly and take a leading role in ensuring that all long overdue debts
are recovered by all means.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant
must at least hold a Diploma in Business of any other related qualification but
with a bias in Marketing.

A minimum
of two years of related work experience in any sales-driven or competitive
marketing environment.

computer literacy with excellent use of MS Office – Excel, Word.

team leader with good sales, influencing and negotiation / persuasion skills
with the ability to network, generate new business and develop strong business

with a passion and a strong “can do” attitude.

A person
with high integrity and team building skills.

Age: between 24-35 years.
