Mildmay Uganda is an
indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also
providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up
comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.

Job Summary:  The DREAMS Project Officer will lead the
planning, implementation, and reporting of all HIV Preventions interventions
for vulnerable, at risk Adolescent Girls and Young Women 10 -24 years in
assigned districts to ensure that such girls are Determined, Resilient, AIDS
Free, Mentored and Safe.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work,
Development Studies, Community Psychology, or a related field from a recognized
university

·        
A post
graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is required. Masters’
Degree is an added advantage.

·        
A
minimum of five years of experience in Project Planning and Management;

·        
Previous
experience in facilitating group based education activities like FSGs, ESGs,
Parenting Groups, and VSLAs will be an added advantage;

·        
Knowledge
of participatory approaches to community mobilization and engagement.

·        
Experience
with SASA, Stepping Stones and Asset Building Approaches will be an added
advantage.

·        
Current
knowledge on HIV prevention, care and treatment, and experience with OVC and
Gender programming is required.
