Job Summary:  The Sales Executive will be charged with
building the airline’s business activities in the Market. He/She will be
responsible for discovering and pursuing new business opportunities and
maintaining customer satisfaction. The goal is to meet and surpass the
company’s expectations for business growth with sustainable results.
 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Provide
analytical support to the sales manager in liaison with revenue management,
pricing, marketing departments, and the travel trade.

·       
Provide
daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly market analysis reports i.e. using MIDT/BSP
ticketed sales report, Revenue analysis, and other performance reports.

·       
Ensuring
production and distribution of sales communications to the Travel Industry
(RwandAir Policies, Fare Sheets, Special offers, product briefing, Promotions,
etc).

·       
Organize
and coordinate events, functions, and exhibitions.

·       
Establish,
develop, and maintain business relationships with assigned current customers
and prospective customers segment to generate revenues for the organization

·       
Monitor
competitor activities evaluate the recommended competitive pricing levels to
deliver expected yield, margin, and revenue targets.

·       
Provide
input; participate in the identification and progress of new business opportunities
for revenue growth.

·       
Assess
and propose an appropriate incentive scheme to Travel Agents and Corporates so
as to enhance productivity, efficiency, and maximization of revenue.

·       
Market
and brand RwandAir to ensure product knowledge and visibility in the market.

·       
Ensure
intensive sales calls among Travel Agents, Tour operators, Corporates, and
Government.

·       
Research,
gather and analyze products availability in the market to assist in the
proposal of new products and services to improve Company sales

·       
Research,
gather and analyze competitor’s information to define the bestselling approach
to increase Company market quota and visibility

·       
Collect,
review and consolidate information to support the identification of
intervention areas to ensure sales target achievement

·       
Negotiate
new corporate contracts with TMC’s. Renegotiate the renewal of existing
corporate contracts.

·       
Negotiate
and manage commercial agreements with assigned accounts of trade and corporate
segment to ensure sales can be closed, respecting corporate guidelines and
indications

·       
Communicate
and meet regularly with relevant accounts to inform about new products and
promotions to increase sales in order to reach the expected sales target

·       
Meet
area sales Target as assigned by the supervisor.

Effectively
execute all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
ideal candidate for the RwandAir Ltd Sales Executive job placement must hold a
bachelor degree

·       
He/She
should have at least five years of experience in a sales environment,
preferably in the Airline, Travel, or Hospitality industry.

·       
He /She
will need to possess excellent knowledge of industry trends and customers’
requirements, with a proven track record in meeting and over-achieving sales
targets.

·       
He/She
will also need excellent oral and written communication skills and have a
proven track record of the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all
organizational levels.
