Job Summary:  The Sales
and Marketing Officer will jointly plan, direct and coordinate the sales
operations and ensure smooth delivery of goods. Ensure customers get services
they are entitled to and support the growth of the business.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Take
daily sales orders for both transport and cement through online and telephone
sales and generate Sales order book.

·       
Provide
all the daily sales orders for both transport and cement for truck allocation

·       
Collaborate
with Operations Team for available sales orders/customers

·       
Follow
up with customers on payments in collaboration with Operations and Finance Team

·       
Compile all
daily customers complaints regarding deliveries and maintain a customer
complaint log

·       
Manage
backhaul customers and prepare reports on revenue status

·       
Provide
monthly Income fleet and & cement reports

·       
Conduct
daily reconciliation of sales both transport and cement by Customer

·       
Ensure
credit sales have been dully authorized as per approval SOP

·       
Manage
debtors effectively and report weekly and monthly status.

·       
Support
in delivery of invoices for timely payment & pick up of cheques from
customers

·       
Maintain
a Sales Incident Register and report on trend.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any Logistics, Supply-Chain
management. Transportation management training a plus advantage

·       
Three to
four years of experience preferably from Transport industry;

·       
Previous
experience in Logistics and Supply- Chain Management; Transportation
Management, Distribution Management, Business Operations Management, Sales and
Marketing or equivalent.

·       
Sales
and marketing capabilities

·       
Working
knowledge of transportation and logistics systems

·       
Business
operations skills like customer service and distribution

·       
Ability
to prioritise workload and be capable of managing a broad range of areas.

·       
Action
Oriented and Customer Focus

·       
Drive
for Results and follow through with a Positive Attitude

·       
Strong
financial acumen.
