(Uganda) – 6 month fixed-term contract

brands to give our members fair prices on the quality products they are looking

Job Summary:  The role of the office administrator is to
ensure that there is smooth running of operations and office administration of
the office.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

 Office
coordination and Management

·       
Manage
relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all
items are invoiced and paid on time

·       
Coordinate
Day to day office administration e.g Deliveries, Filing, Finance-related
queries, etc

·       
Support
the Operations function; including ensuring office supplies (stationery,
equipment, etc.) and services are available and maintained at appropriate
levels and maintain supplier’s list to ensure cost-effectiveness

·       
Setting
and coordination of team calendars for meetings both internally and on a global
level using G-Suite

·       
Facilitate
repairs and maintenance of the office, ensuring the general presentation of the
office is up to the required standard, and all equipment is maintained in good
working order

·       
Conduct
occasional health and safety to ensure the office environment is safe and
conducive for business

Event planning
& Travel Management

·       
Plan
team-building activities to promote Culture and Values which may include
monthly speaker series and quarterly team-building activities.

·       
Manage
protocol and coordinate local travel itinerary for colleagues travelling to and
from Kampala which including maintaining a list of well-trusted standard hotels
and management of other business related accounts including drivers

·       
Assisting
with airport pickups and UG immigration advisory as required

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The ideal
candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any
Business related field with at least one year of experience in a similar
position in a fast-paced environment.

·       
Knowledge
of office management systems and procedures (i.e. Xero)

business, travel is essential to who we are, and will be a perk of the job. We
also host an annual whole company offsite (Wecamp), previously held in Kenya
and the UK. In addition, we have a flexible working environment (within reason
of course!), and we value spending time together – frequent social events
throughout the year (where possible).
