About US:

The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) is a corporate
autonomous statutory body/agency under the Ministry of Education and Sports
(MoE&S) responsible for the development of educational curricula for
primary, secondary and some tertiary institutions in Uganda. Its functions
include, inter alia, initiating processes for curricula research, review and/or
reform, updating, testing and coordinating the implementation of educational
curricula at all levels of learning (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary) as well
as promulgation of guidance for the implementation of improved educational
curricula and pedagogy.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

·       
Open and
lock office and keep in safe custody all office keys.

·       
Maintain
orderliness and cleanliness of office premises.

·       
Protect
office property while in office premises.

·       
Cleaning,
vacuuming, polishing surfaces of office premises, windows, curtains and washing
rooms to create a pleasant work environment tor staff of the Centre and
clients.

·       
Collecting
and taking out trash making sure the offices and pantry are kept clean all the
time.

·       
Brushing
and mopping entrances, stairs and floor stairways to maintain neat premises.

·       
Preparing
tea, coffee or other beverages and serving them as required and hygienic
maintenance of cups, glasses, plates and all other utensils/ items.

·       
Perform
any other duties as assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·       
The
applicant must hold a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with a PASS in
English Language

·       
Age:
20-40 years
