Job Title:            Office Assistant

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Human Resource Officer

About US:

Crown Beverages Limited was founded and incorporated as Lake Victoria Bottling Company on 29th March 1950. Then, the Uganda government owned the majority shares while a few elite indigenous Ugandans owned the minority shares. In 1965, LVBC became the Pepsi Cola franchise in Uganda and started bottling global soft drinks including; Pepsi, Mirinda, Gingerly among others. In December 1997, CBL went into joint ownership with International Pepsi Cola Bottling Investments, (IPCBI) of South Africa, who bought 51% shares in the CBL and injected in more capital and also had a controlling team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

Collection and Delivery of Packages:

·        Timely delivering of documents to specified destinations by collecting parcels in and out of offices as directed.

·        Supporting in photocopying of documents.

Document Security:

·        Maintaining office schedules by picking-up and delivering items using an automobile in a secure way.

·        Reporting any incidents of document loss.

Office Equipment and Furniture Movement:

·        Support in the movement of office furniture/equipment whenever requested.

Directing Visitors to Various Offices:

·        Assist in directing/escorting visitors to respective offices as and when needed

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

·        The applicant must hold a UACE certificate

·        Integrity

·        Customer care

·        Interpersonal skills

·        Communication skills

·        Must know how to ride a motorcycle and must possess relevant permit
